Day 3
Fixing Appointments
Today was fixing of all of the appointments of the clergy to local churches and extension ministries. Our pastor, Robyn Wages, was appointed to Wesley Bakersfield! Rather than reading every single appointment, they only read the names of who was moving (and the church they were moving to). It seemed like Central Valley District had more moves than all of the other districts combined!

Core Team Report
The chair of the Conference Core Team, Rev. Sam Yun, shared the work of the Core Team over the last year. The Core Team oversees the work of the Annual Conference and allocates the resources needed for the work/ministry in the four focus areas: Compassion & Justice, Congregational Development, Leadership Development, and Partners in Ministry.
