Music is an essential part of our worship. The two music groups for adults are the chancel choir (vocal music) and the bell choir.
The Chancel Choir welcomes anyone from senior high school age and older who has any desire to sing praises to God. You do not need to know how to read music to sing in the choir but a willingness to try a variety of types of music is necessary. The Chancel Choir meets in the sanctuary every Sunday morning at starting on the Sunday after Labor Day and ending in the middle of May. The choir may hold regular practices on a weekday evening depending on the schedule of the music director and choir members. The choir helps lead every Sunday worship from September through May.
The Bell Choir welcomes anyone from senior high school age and older who has any desire to ring praises to God. You do not need to know how to read music to play the bells but you do need to know how to count! The Bell Choir meets in the sanctuary on selected weekday evenings starting after Labor Day and ending in May. The choir usually rings in service once a month.
